Author: Memory Ball

For the first time ever, we've become inspired to have a theme for Memory Ball. In choosing a theme, it had to be relevant to the cause, and of course a lot of fun. As such, Claire has come up with a beautifully meaningful theme for our sixth event. We hope Claire's post inspires you to join us in our quest to end Alzheimer's and of course join us for the party of the year, Memory Ball 2017 on Saturday, April 1st at Palais Royale. Without further ado, please read Claire's thoughts behind this year's theme of "Mind the Gap." If you're familiar with my story you would know that my mother was a British immigrant, and if you had the chance to meet her, she wouldn't let you forget it! My mum grew up in London in the 60's which lead to her becoming quite the BritPop devotee. I grew up dancing in the kitchen with her to the Rolling Stones, the Beatles and the Kinks. Eager to go home, Christmas 2000 was the year she brought my father, sister and I across the pond. This was my first experience in England, and it was an experience I will never forget. So, you missed buying Memory Ball tickets this year because we sold out! It happens. BUT our amazing friends at eRings Magazine are here to save the day and help bump up our overall donation total for the Alzheimer Society of Toronto! eRings are auctioning off 2 tickets to Memory Ball - which is of course, otherwise sold out! Read on for the rules to the auction.ERM Bridal and Memory Ball

Presented by J.P. Wiser’s Whisky and Absolut Vokda

This year, thanks to our friends at Corby, we bring you not one but TWO signature cocktails. The first, the Canadian Mule, showcases a much-beloved Canadian whisky, while the second, features the always in-style ABSOLUT Vodka. Check them out on April 2nd, or if you won't be in attendance, try them out at home. Let us know which one is your favourite!

by: Aryn Gatto It’s that time of the year again: our New Year’s resolutions may be in the rear view mirror, work is keeping you on your toes (or rather seated at your desk!), and although there are little signs of spring appearing here and there, winter continues to linger, not yet having released its grasp and make room for all things spring, which tend to encourage us to go for that spontaneous evening jog or Sunday bike ride.
